Liverpool has done it again, as they trash Manchester City 3-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal at Anfield. The win now put Liverpool in a favoured position to advance to the Semi-finals going into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Competition next week Tuesday.
The game was not short of excitement as expected between the two teams, as all through the game both teams were up to cancel each other, but it was Liverpool that came up on top at the end. Liverpool capitalized on all the defensive errors from the Manchester City players, netting three goals in the first of the game, with goals coming from usual suspects of Mo’ Salah, Mane and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. In the other game, Barcelona beat AS Roma 4-1 going into the second leg with a three goal advantage against the Italian side. See the results:
