Well, for the lack of an appropriate word to use, I decided to use ‘Gate-Crash’ because how can anyone describe Naomi Campbell’s presence at the official commissioning of a major project in the country by the president, without ‘US’ even getting a hint on her possible invitation…If no bi only her waka come…even went as far as getting a front row in some of the photos. The Supermodel who made a surprise visit to Nigeria, as can be clearly seen by the photos, was spotted with President Buhari and other dignitaries at the official commissioning of the Eko Atlantic City project in Lagos and was looking much more formal than usual in her outfit, as she shakes hands with the president and other VIPs present.
Naomi Campbell who is notoriously known for her constant close relationship with Presidents around the world, throughout her career as a model has been known as a lady with powerful political connections with powerful world leaders, and from those photos, it seems Presiden Buhari just joined the list of those group. She was one time rumoured to be the girlfriend to former rebel war lord and later president of Liberia Charles Taylor, where an incident of a gigantic diamond called ‘Blood Daimond’ and some humanitarian crisis in the country, made her take a stand at the trials of the former President at the Hague for illigal children mining and world crime charges, which Charles Taylor was later jailed.
