Afro-pop singer-songwriter and Mavin’s superwoman, Tiwa Savage put up a photo of her on her social media page earlier today, looking flawless in an all-black outfit flaunting her fit body. The hitmaker who arguably is the best female musician in the African continent of the moment, showed off a Street sign with her name on it, as she talks about how far she has come and how despite having it all, she is still broke and hungry for more. A normal human feeling you would say, as no matter the wealth, a human being will still not satisfy their unsatiable wants. But Tiwa Savage is not broke and has never been, at least not that I am aware of, as she recently bought herself a house, and travels around the world with her son whenever she feels like.
The endorsement deals are still there, the shows and record deals are surely more than enough for Tiwa not to be broke. If we look at her progress so far, she is that singer or that one individual that was waiting for something to get off her so that she can ‘explode’….nope! I am not referring to her failed marriage…but something that seems to be holding her back, and explode she did, as she as evolved from the “my darling and emi-nado” to sugarcane, Diet and most of all, Shaku- Shaku dance Queen. She put up the photo with this caption:

She has brought a lot of light and freshness into the Mavin’s group, that even Reekado Banks is struggling to keep up the pace with her, as she churns out hit banger after hit banger. Her latest one “Diet” which was a collaboration with another male artiste, is already climbing the charts both home and abroad, competing with the likes of Wizkid and Davido.
The street sign on her photo, we are not sure if its real or Photoshop, but whichever it is, Tiwa Savage deserves more than a street being named after her. I mean, tell me the female musician that has so many hit singles in the last weeks than Africa’s Royal Hotness??? You say??? Lol
