Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie earlier today, shared a photo of herself with American media mogul, actress and billionaire Oprah Winfrey. The International acclaimed and winner of book prize awards, Chimamanda whose impeccable writing skills has open doors for her, and still opening, continues to break new grounds for herself and paving the way for other local writers like her in Nigeria and in Africa at large.
While sharing her beautiful moments with Oprah Winfrey, she put up two photos on her Instagram page, with her and Oprah all smile, as she insists she will cherish the moments for a longer time. She captioned the picture of her with the ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ actress Oprah Winfrey with:

One can only imagine what these two phenomena women are up to, as they dine and joke about in Oprah’s living room. Adichie who is well known more in the International community than her native country Nigeria, in almost all her published books, have been very critical of gender-related issues. She is never in favour or against, as she always finds a to highlight the balance as to how the world should be or how most of the gender-related issues should be viewed by society, especially the debate on female and male child. This she has debated round Television Stations around the world, University Campuses, and Seminars, and Talk Shows around the world.
Her most recent work ‘Dear Ijewele or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestion’ and ‘The thing around your neck’ are perfect examples of her views on gender and political issues facing the world. But she never agrees whether or not she is a feminist…hmmm
