She is probably one of those Nigerian movie makers, that is coming close to what Mosunmola Abudu and CEO of Ebony Life is doing in terms of movie making and turn overs. She might not be hitting the outrageous figures and smashing box office records like Mo’ is doing, but if there is anything this beautiful mother of three-plus her husband, making four, Omoni Oboli is doing that we are proud of, is using her talent to help the less privilege in the society, by telling their stories through movies. Though she has come under huge criticism of late, for making ‘nonsense and not cinema worthy’ movies, she is not deterred by all that, as she has gone about her business, and whilst still trying to improve on her productions.
The lively Omoni who some days back, complained of falling ill, and even missing her movie premiere ‘Wives on Strike’ at the London Premiere, in the spirit of the Mother ‘s Days celebration, has taken to her Instagram page, to celebrate her children as a mother, with a lovely photo of her three boys.
