The controversial Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai earlier today, was being swamped by his supporters at Kawo in Kaduna State. The Governor who was in Sarduana Memorial College Mosque in Kawo for the usual Friday prayers was not allowed easy exit by the marmot crowd that swamped his convoy. 
The Governor have been at loggerhead with some of the Senators from his state, that have even led to factionalism in the All Progressive Congress of the Kaduna chapter. The Governor was even alleged to have demolished a building belong to one of the Senators, Senator Hunkuyi, a Senator representing Kaduna North. This came after the Senator was alleged to be behind the purported suspension of the Governor from the party, and then opening of another party Secretariat.
The Governor who shared the Instagram snaps, is clearly showing his popularity amongst the Kaduna people. He caption the photos with:
Today, I performed the Friday Congregational Prayers at the Sardauna Memorial College Mosque in Kawo, Kaduna.
It is always humbling to be welcomed by so many people. May all our prayers be answered.
