Nigerian King of comedy Mr Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome popularly known by his stage name Alibaba shows of his numerous awards, as he celebrates 30years in business. The multiple award winning comedian, business man and also a mentor, put up a post on his Instagram page, where talked about his humble beginning in the then old Bendel state and as a student.
The man Alibaba who is happily married with children, turned around the face of comedy in Nigeria, and mentored so many comedians who are household names today in the entertainment Industry. He said:
30 years of staying relevant from day one when I accidentally climbed on that stage in Bendel State University, Ekpoma… AMEROD PROMOTIONS… Yes. Thank you. And a big thank you to Fidelis Blackbone Onovughakpo… He and Stella O! Stella Olleh! Were the Mcees that called me on stage that day. And I Came on stage, to rescue a situation, after having been a Heckler per excellence. 30 years later… still on the beat. 30 days hath September… and I shall be celebrating each day.
