The President of Ghana, Akufo Addo has praised his wife Lady Rebecca Akufo Addo for commissioning health centres in Kumasi. The first lady who has lined up a number of projects to be commissioned through out this week with husband, earlier today in Kumasi, commissioned a Maternity Unit as well as Mother and baby Unit for the Komfo Anokye teaching Hospital in the Ashanti region.
The President Akufo Addo who was also on ground to witness the ceremony, praised his wife for the projects. He shared a picture of himself and wife on his page, saying:
I am extremely proud of my beloved Rebecca (@RAkufoAddo). Today’s commissioning of the Mother and Baby Unit at KATH is a welcome development, which will help reduce, drastically, the mortality rate of mothers and babies at the hospital. Kudos!! #SaveAChildSaveAMother
