Luke Combs is a dad of three!
The country singer, 35, welcomed his third baby, a boy named Chet Wiley, sometime in the last few weeks, and announced the exciting news in an Instagram carousel shared jointly by Luke and his wife Nicole on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The couple did not share the exact date of Chet Wiley’s birth, but noted that Feb. 19 was his “due date.”
“Happy due date to the littlest Combs BOY! We’ve loved soaking up these last few weeks of newborn snuggles 🥰,” the post’s caption reads.
In the photos, baby Chet Wiley can be seen snuggling with mom Nicole alongside Luke and his two older brothers, Beau Lee and Tex Lawrence. Another snap shows the couple holding hands with Chet Wiley’s tiny hand in between theirs.
In a repost of the image of their hands to her Instagram Stories, Nicole wrote “the little HAND, you really do forget how small they are.”
In the carousel’s final photo, Beau Lee and Tex Lawrence are pictured from behind, admiring their new baby brother.
Combs’ fellow country stars, among other celebs, shared their best wishes for the new family of five in the comments. “How sweet🥹🐣 congratulations!!,” gushed singer Caylee Hammack.
🥹🫶🏽🩵 congratulations mama!!!,” shared The Valley star Kristen Doute.
The Fathers & Sons artist first announced he was expecting his third baby on Instagram in September. The video — set to Luke’s song “Days Like These” — opened with the newly minted parents of three sharing the news with their sons Beau Lee, 2, and Tex Lawrence, 3. The doting mom pulls a picture of the sonogram from behind her back and shows the boys, who throw their hands up excitedly.
After breaking the news, the then-family of four can be seen walking away from the camera, leaving the sonogram behind.
“Third time’s a charm! ✨Baby #3 coming this winter 🤍”, the couple captioned their post.
Shortly after posting, the doting mom shared a screenshot of a text message thread between her and their manager Sophia Sanson, where she finds out that Luke Combs was performing his song “Days Like These” at the same time she posted the pregnancy announcement video.
“When @lukecombs is in London playing Days Like These at the exact time I posted the announcement 🥹🤍 ” she wrote in text under the screenshot on her Instagram Stories.
The proud parents welcomed their first son, Tex Lawrence, in June 2022. One year later, their second son, Beau Lee, was born in August 2023.
Luke Combs originally admitted that he was “nervous” about becoming a father for the first time in 2022, he was still looking forward to being a hands-on parent. Two years later, he released his concept album, Fathers & Sons, in 2024, telling PEOPLE that his sons had been the inspiration behind it.
“I wanted them to be able to reference later on in their life that even at the height of my success they were still my number one priority,” he said. “If anyone’s dad had the opportunity to do something like that, I think that they would take it. At least I would hope so. I did it for them.”
