Hilda Baci has safely transported her 6-meter wide and 6-meter tall fabricated pot to Eko Hotel, as she prepares to make the largest Nigerian jollofrice ever made at the ‘Gino World Jollof Festival’ in Lagos.
The Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci who announced her plans for the world largest Nigerian jollofrice weeks ago, confirmed on Thursday 11th September 2025, that the fabricated pot arrived the venue of Eko hotel at about 4am.
“At 4am this morning, our pot was safely transported from Gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko hotel where the event it taking place. I am still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24hrs.” she said.
Hilda Baci is preparing to cook the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice ever made on September 12, 2025, using a 6-meter wide and 6-meter tall pot with a 22,619-liter volume, requiring 250 bags of rice and 1,583 kilograms of tomato paste for the Gino World Jollof Festival. This monumental cooking event is a celebration of West African culture, music, and food, and is envisioned to provide food for over 5,000 children.
