Nollywood actress Chika Ike has finally responded to rumours surrounding her pregnancy, and Senator Ned Nwoko, as she denies being romantically involved with the Delta State Senator.
Chika Ike who broke the news of her pregnancy just a few days ago, in setting the record straight on Tuesday 18th February 2025, took to her official social media handle to post yet another series of her pregnancy photoshoot with a caption saying Ned Nwoko is not the father of her child, while also taking a shot at Ned Nwoko’s wife, Regina Daniels by saying that she is not about to be anyone’s 7th wife.
“Endlessly blessed, forever grateful, Ned isn’t the father of my child and whoever name you might come up with later with your guessing games and like have said before, I am not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me,” her message in part read.
Chika Ike also had a message for rumour mongers, saying:
“I have been pregnant for months now and no one even had a clue about my pregnancy until I announced it and you all think you will know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? very laughable and clueless!” she said.
“Keep gigging and coming up with your false news. I don’t care about rumours because I understand it comes with my career choice and the only reason i am responding to this rumour is because this is about my child. My privacy is my peace and NO ONE can unsettle me. I am basking in the euphoria of my pregnancy and that’s all that matters to me now”,
She continued by adding that she decided to respond to the rumours going around because it has to do with her child.
“There have been all sorts of lies paddled about me in the media for years but i always treated them like what they are, Rumours that needed no response.
But this is different, this is about my CHILD…you all do not know anything about me Because you cant except i choose to disclose. Yes I am that private,” she said.
In all of these, one thing we noticed is that, Chika Ike seems to be confirming that she has giving birth as she keeps using the word ‘child’ and not her ‘unborn child’.
…well, i guess we will never know until she decides to put it out there, just like her pregnancy news…
