Katie Holmes went braless in an eye-catching ensemble as she attended the star-studded, 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday.
The Dawson’s Creek alum, Katie Holmes 45 – who recently shared a rare photo as she posed with her three sisters, joined other celebrities at the event, including Blake Lively and Kylie Jenner.
Katie Holmes was radiant wearing a long-sleeved, pink and reddish orange dress from the Spring/Summer 2025 Carolina Herrera collection.
The outfit contained small cutouts on the sides, and fell down past her ankles. A small slit could be seen on the back, as well as a long, black bow.
Katie Holmes also donned a pair of closed-toed, red pumps to coincide with the color scheme of her gown.
Katie Holmes easily carried a small, sleek black purse in her hand to hold a few items she needed during the ceremony.
The actress’s brunette hair was parted in the middle, and styled into a low, chic bun at the back of her head.
Katie Holmes accessorized the dress with a pair of pink, dangly earrings as well as a few chunky rings on her left hand.
She held a small smile on her face while flaunting the colorful dress at the awards event in NYC.
The mother-of-one was also joined by the current creative director of Carolina Herrera, Wes Gordon, while posing on the red carpet.
The designer dressed for the occasion wearing a classic, black suit as well as a partially unbuttoned white shirt and sleek, black shoes.
During an interview last year with Glamour, Katie opened up about her sense of fashion – whether it be her street style or glamming up for an event.
‘I enjoy [fashion]. I mean, I enjoy the craftsmanship. I enjoy putting things together,’ she expressed to the outlet.

‘I’m proud of my daughter. Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy,’ the actress gushed to the outlet.
‘I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.’
Katie has also been keeping busy with the current Broadway production, Our Town, which officially opened on October 10.
The play was written by Thornton Wilder, and has returned to the Broadway stage for the first time in over 20 years.
The revival features a total of 28 actors, including Holmes, Jim Parsons, Zoey Deutch, Ephraim Sykes, Julie Halston and Michelle Wilson.
The premise follows the ‘timeless tale of a small town’ as ‘a stage manager narrates the daily lives of its locals, depicts a childhood friendship turn into marriage, and sets the stage for magnificent truths of what it means to be alive,’ per the official Broadway website.
Previews kicked off on Tuesday, September 17 at the Barrymore Theatre, with dates set to run through January 19, 2025.
