Kris Jenner got on the wrong side of some social media watchdogs, as her recent Instagram post left them skeptical, with many questioning if her flawless appearance was the result of filters, Daily Mail reports.
The Kardashian family momager, Kris Jenner, 68, shared a number of snaps earlier this week showing off her wrinkle-free visage, as she promoted different skincare products.
The mom-of-six — who recently looked younger than ever in a Snow White costume, wore a cozy white robe while posing for the camera.
In the post she tagged celebrity facialist and Beauty Sandwich founder Iván Pol, as well as makeup artist Buster Knight. Kris Jenner also said she was wearing mascara and Skin Tint Blurring Elixir from daughter Kylie Jenner’s brand, Kylie Cosmetics.
However, many fans called out the star for the ‘absurd’ post and promoting ‘unreal beauty expectations’ with one writing, ‘NO one believes she looks like this right!?’
‘Do better… stop promoting unreal beauty expectations. This is so obviously filtered to the max. Embrace your aging.’
‘So photo -tweaked. She literally has no lines or pores. Make-up cannot make you that perfect but she is a beautiful woman anyway.’
‘C’mon, embrace your age.’
‘God this is absurd. She’s like 70 lol,’ another added.
‘No lines in her neck please no one looks like that.’
‘Filtered.. At your age the neck line cannot escape,’ someone else added, with another commentator echoing the sentiment, writing:
‘Omg this is so filtered. People wake up.’
‘Why not show filtered and unfiltered???’
‘Not nice at your age filtered to the freaking Max.’
However, a number of Kris’ famous pals left her positive comments, with Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sánchez writing, ‘Stunning. WOW wow’ along with a heart and fire emoji.
Meanwhile Paris Hilton left a heart eye emoji.
Kris Jenner wrote in the caption: ‘Had the perfect afternoon with @thebeautysandwich and followed it up tonight with makeup by @busterknight I’m wearing @kyliecosmetics Kylash mascara and Skin Tint Blurring Elixir!’
Kris Jenner also looked similarly flawless while promoting the yoga brand Alo on her Instagram earlier this week.
Over the weekend, the star looked younger than ever while dressing up as Snow White for daughter Khloe Kardashian’s Halloween party.
Khloe shared a pic with her mother on her Instagram Stories and captioned it, ‘My mom showed up at Snow White! I thought one of my sisters hired a Disney Princess but no.. it was @krisjenner!!!
Kris and her daughters have frequently been called out by fans for over-filtering their photos and videos over the years.
The Kardashians have long reigned supreme as the billion dollar queens of Instagram – thanks to their picture perfect images. But even by their own admission, it’s a carefully curated façade.
Khloe has publicly declared she ‘loves a good filter’, her sister Kim Kardashian was shown on their reality show staying up all night ‘editing’ her photos, and half-sister Kylie Jenner once let slip that she relies on ‘Facetune’ for the perfect selfie.
Last March, Khloe came under fire for the umpteenth time after posting a series of images in which she appeared to have altered her body using an editing tool, leaving Instagram in uproar after users spotted several tell-tale signs of a Photoshop faux pas.
She also denied posting a badly Photoshopped picture of herself in 2022, attempting to shift blame on her glam team.
Kim was also accused of using photoshop after she appeared to have a double right leg in an Instagram post in 2022.
