Anne Hathaway shared a relatable selfie on Friday, Aug. 30, to her Instagram feed. In the photo taken inside a vehicle, the actress rocks two star-shaped pimple patches.

The Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, who earned an Oscar for her role in Les Misérables, paired the pimple patches with a denim hat and sunglasses.
One of her nearly 35 million Instagram followers replied to her pimple patch selfie using the “demure” trend format.
“See how she uses a star pimple patch instead of popping the pimple? Very demure, very mindful, very cutesy,” the fan wrote in the comment section.
The skincare selfie is also reminiscent of the pore strip scene from Hathaway’s 2001 movie The Princess Diaries, in which her character Mia Thermopolis rips off a pore strip when a boy catches her off guard.
The pimple patch photo is just one of several relatable beauty and style moments Hathaway has had this year.
In June, the Idea of You star shared a beauty hack for plump lips. That same month, Hathaway wore breathable mesh ballet flats that some people were inspired to buy because of her. Then, in August, she wore a comfy yet stylish travel day outfit that fans can replicate for as little as $26.
Anne Hathaway also gave fans relatable vibes when she danced like no one was watching at Taylor Swift’s July 19 Eras Tour show in Germany.
Hathaway’s next film, Flowervale Street, will be released in theaters on May 16, 2025.
