The on-again, off-again couple sparked reconciliation rumors over the weekend with a soccer game sighting.
The “Señorita” singers were photographed sitting together at the Copa América final at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
While the Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were not caught on camera engaging in any PDA, they chatted and smiled at each other in fan footage.
X users speculated that they are back together, with one joking, “she never leaving that man alone and he ain’t leaving her alone period.”
Another called them “Jelena 2.0” in reference to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s tumultuous romance, and a third wrote that they had “prayed for” this reconnection.
The performers first dated from 2019 to 2021.
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes announced their split with a social media statement at the time, writing, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.”
In April 2023, they made headlines for kissing at the Coachella music festival and enjoying an Eras Tour date night the following month.
