Kim Kardashian is keeping it real about motherhood.
The reality star recently got candid about raising her kids North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 with ex-husband Kanye West, revealing that she wishes she can be a “stricter” parent like sister Khloe Kardashian, who shares daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 22 months, with ex Tristan Thompson.
“Sometimes, it just gets a little intense,” Kim admitted on the June 6 episode of The Kardashians. “I wanna be more strict like Khloe, but I don’t know why I have a hard time just saying no is no.”
In fact, the 43-year-old, who broke up with the rapper in 2021, admitted that she often caves to her children’s requests because she doesn’t “want to deal with the whining and the tears of not getting their way.”
“They know when to con me,” Kim Kardashian noted, explaining that her children will “start with the tears, so I’m like, ‘Stop, stop. Sure, take the iPad. Just stop.'”
And while the SKIMS mogul “will always be there for my kids,” she said that “to say it doesn’t take an emotional toll sometimes would be lying.”
Elsewhere on the episode, Kim Kardashian detailed her struggles balancing work with mommy duties, sharing in a heart-to-heart phone conversation with a friend, “Anything in that home is just chaotic right now.”
“I had a Zoom,” she explained. “Kids were at the house banging on my door, just screaming. I was literally hiding in a bathroom with the door locked.”
“I know I don’t have that support and that really sucks,” Kim continued, confessing that she recently took her daughter’s cellphone away but gave it back after only a day. “I know I have to get it together.”
She added, “I’m such a pushover.”
