Celine Dion fans have been left sobbing and ‘in shock’ after Amazon Prime released an emotional new trailer for the upcoming I Am: Celine Dion documentary, which sees the Canadian singer break down in tears, Daily Mail reports.

According to the report by Daily Mail, in the moving clip, the 56-year-old music legend becomes upset as she admits being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome has affected her ability to perform – and her candid admission has left her fans crying too.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, many Celine Dion fans shared their thoughts on the powerful trailer as one person posted: ‘This video broke me into pieces. What a wonderful and strong woman.’

Another wrote: ‘I’m totally in shock, she doesn’t deserve this situation,’ while a third person admitted: ‘Céline Dion made me cry and her documentary isn’t even out yet.’

Someone else commented: ‘Already crying. Queen you deserve nothing but health, love and all the praise. Stay strong Céline, we love you so so much and we miss you like hell,’ while a different user added: ‘Here I am crying over Celine Dion again. My 30+ year love of this woman knows no bounds.

Another fan wrote: ‘One minute seeing the trailer and I cant stop crying. Imagine watch all the documentary (sic).’

The comments by Celine Dion fans on YouTube were similar as fans flooded the trailer with their love for the Think Twice hitmaker.

‘This is just the trailer, but I’m already crying like a baby,’ one person said, while another wrote: ‘OMG that shot of her crying stabbed me and wounded me. All the best for you Celine.’

A third posted: ‘I love you Celine with all my heart. I was teary-eyed while watching this,’ and a fourth added: ‘Didn’t know someone was chopping onions here. We love you, Celine.’

In one shocking part of the trailer, a 911 call is heard being made over the backdrop of Las Vegas – where Celine performed an epic residency up until June 2019.

It’s unsure when or why the 911 call was made, but it was likely due to her struggles with stiff person syndrome.

Celine revealed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with the degenerative disease.

Stiff person syndrome (SPS), also known as stiff-man syndrome, is a rare neurological disorder that causes progressive muscle stiffness and spasms.
