Afrobeats King and legend in the making, Burna Boy is celebrating his sister and stylist Ronami Ogulu as she clocks a year older today. She shares the same birthday date with Mama African, Yemi Alade.
Burna Boy taking to his fan page, posted a series of photos from the archives where he was photographed with his sister Ronami Ogulu celebrating their achievements together. He used some of those photos from their memorable moments to celebrate his sister on her special day.
“Happy birthday to an amazing sister and the best stylist, Ronami Ogulu. Cheers to more fun years,” he said.
Ronami Ogulu is one of the talented Ogulu siblings and a younger sister to Odogwu himself, whose eye for fashion singles her out even in her family.
Ronami Ogulu is a businesswoman, celebrity stylist and creative. She is famous for being the sister to one of Nigeria’s Grammy award winners, Burna Boy.
Ogulu attended an all-girls school called Haberdashers Monmouth School in Wales, United Kingdom. She subsequently enrolled at the University of Durham in the United Kingdom from 2011 to 2014. There, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.
She expanded her knowledge by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Strategy for Business from the Imperial College Business School in 2015.
Beyond being his sister, Ogulu is also the brain behind Burna Boy’s exceptional fashion style. Today, fans continue to admire and applaud her for the remarkable artistic vision she brings to the stage through Burna’s clothing.
Last year, Burna Boy revealed that his younger sister and stylist/creative director, Ronami Ogulu was the brain behind his recent sold-out concert at the iconic London Stadium.
Burna Boy became the first African artiste to sell out the 80,000-capacity London Stadium last year.
Shortly after the show, the self-proclaimed ‘African Giant’ was captured in a viral video carrying his younger sister, Ronami on his back.
Sharing the video via his Instastory, Burna Boy said his sister deserved to be carried on the back because the concert was her vision.
He said Ronami put in a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure the event was a success.
He wrote, “Well done @r0nami e reach to carry you!!! This show was wild behind the scenes!!! I know the stress you went through!! The whole thing was your vision. It was amazing seeing it come to life. I’m so proud of you.”
