Seven suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by the Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Makurdi, a statement by the anti-graft agency said on Thursday.
According to the statement released on Thursday 29th February 2024, by the anti-gratf agency, the seven suspected internet fraudsters were arrested by the Makurdi zonal command on Thursday.
They were arrested in their hideout in Aliade in the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State.
Items recovered from them include eight phones, three iPad, two internet routers and one international passport.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded
