Popular Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo is once again, reminding her fans and the Nigerian authorities that she has no plans of backing down in seeking for justice for late Afrobeats musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba a.k.a. Mohbad.
Actress Iyabo Ojo took to her official social media handle to put out this informaton to mark late singer’s first post-humous birthday on Wednesday 3rd 2024.
Presently in Dubai with her partner and promoter, Paul Okoye, Iyabo Ojo taking to her Instagram page, posted a music video of Mohbad with a caption that reads
“Once I am back, we the concerned citizens will be paying the right authorities a courtesy visit so help us God.
Justice for Mohbad is a must, and Until that happens no distractiosn no backing down, happy heavenly birthday wishes to you…imole,” she said.
The post by actress Iyabo Ojo is coming just weeks after she filed a counter lawsuit against Naira Marley after the singer’s N500million lawsuit over Mohbad’s death.
The Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo in reacting to the N500 million lawsuit by Naira Marley, expressed her displeasure with the way the legal action was brought to her notice.
Naira Marley had filed the lawsuit after his bail, demanding a public apology and N500million in damages from the actress, citing a September 2023 Instagram post by Ojo, where she allegedly accused Marley of engaging in “spiritual and physical dealings” with the late singer Mohbad and causing him “mental harm.”
Naira Marley claimed that the actress had published false and harmful content against him.
However, Iyabo Ojo, in response, filed a complaint against Naira Marley, claiming that he neglected to personally or by mail serve her with the case, raising worries about potential blackmail.
The actress demanded a sum of N1 billion from the singer for what she perceives as deliberately misleading.
