Rapper Travis Scott has unveiled the first sets of the album covers for his 4th album titled Utopia, showing a man in a taxi holding tight to Nigerian currencies.
In the first photo of the 4th album covers released on Tuesday 25th July 2023, a scary looking fellow was photographed seated in the front seat of a car, holding tight to some Nigerian currencies in the denomination of N10naira, N20naira, N50naira and N100naira.
Rapper Travis Scott posted the images showing a series of photoshoots of scary looking men inside a car and holing up to different currencies, with a caption that reads:
“This is one of the covers for my 4th Album Utopia…shot by Pieter Hugo, The journey through the album took me all over the world and can’t wait to finally drop the album the main cover will drop Thursday until then a cover everyday love you see you in Utopia,” he said.
The latest post from rapper Travis Scott is coming weeks after he was spotted in a village in Kano Nigeria for what seems to be a video shoot for one of his songs in the forthcoming album, Utopia.
A three-second video and picture, was shared by the rapper’s verified fan page on Twitter showing him shooting what seemed to be a music video.
According to the tweet, Travis was recording a music video for a song with Nigerian music act, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema.
“Travis Scott spotted filming a music video in Kano, Nigeria. The music video is rumoured to be for Travis Scott and Rema’s unreleased song,” the tweet read.
Utopia is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper and singer Travis Scott. It is scheduled to be released through Cactus Jack and Epic Records on July 28, 2023. The album follows his third studio album Astroworld (2018) as well as the collaborative compilation album JackBoys (2019).
