Former Kwara State Governor and Ex-Nigerian Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki has joined millions of other Nigerians to celebrate his younger sister, Senator Gbemisola Saraki as she clocks a year older today.

Senator Bukola Saraki who is just two years older than his younger sister, Gbemisola Saraki to celebrate her on her special day, took to his official social media handle to post a photo showing the two of them at an event with a lovely caption to wish her a happy birthday.

As you celebrate another year, I pray that the Almighty showers you with abundant blessings, including happiness, good health, and success in all your endeavours,” he captioned the photo.

Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki was born on this day May 3rd 1965, to Abubakar Olusola Saraki and Florence Morenike Saraki making her 58 years old today. She is a politician who has served as the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development of Nigeria since 6 July 2022. She served earlier as the Minister of State for Transportation from 2019 till she was moved by the President to the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development in 2022.

A former senator, she was elected to represent the Kwara Central Senatorial District in the year 2003 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party. She was elected into the House of Representatives in 1999 representing Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Kwara State.
