North Memphis shooting on Friday, has left at least five people in critical condition, according to police.
According to the report by CNN, officers responding to the Memphis shooting in a north Memphis neighbourhood shortly before 8 p.m. discovered two men and three women had been shot, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Police said that the shooting happened just before 8 p.m. on Springdale Run Drive.
“My son was here visiting and matter of fact, he was headed to the store,” a resident said. “They had to stop him from coming in with the car because they had crime scene tape everywhere.”
The Memphis victims were in critical condition at Regional Medical Center, police said.
The unidentified suspect is known by the victims, and the shooting was the result of a domestic situation, police spokeswoman Theresa Carlson said via email.
The suspect got away in a white Infiniti, police said.
