APC Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu’s latest Twitter selfie which he is allegedly trying to pass off as a recent photo, was actually taken six months ago.
Bola Tinubu’s latest Twitter selfie posted on his official social media handle on Thursday, showing him reading a newspaper inside an office, is an old photo.
The 70-year-old politician had captioned the photo saying that he was “staying focused” away from all the trolls and rumours from opposition parties, but the Internet was quick to notice that Tinubu’s latest Twitter selfie was not so current.
After noticing that the latest Twitter selfie was not so recent, Nigerians trooped to his comment section to drag him for trying to pass off an old photo as a new one, as talks continue to grow about his whereabouts and his state of health.
Nigerians took to his comment section to note that the newspapers he was reading in the photo, were old newspapers, and therefore, the photo is an old photo.
Nigerians were quick to zoom in on the headlines and date in the newspaper which is allegedly owned by him, and noticed that it was far back January 23rd 2022. and not October 6th 2022.

The latest photo was among a series of photos released today Thursday 6th October 2022, by both Bola Tinubu’s handlers and his son Seyi Tinubu. And it is coming a few days after the APC flag bearer’s handlers shared a video of his workout session on social media after his absence has raised some questions. The workout session video was reported to be an old video that was also passed as a recent video.
Critics of the ruling party and supporters of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, took to the comment section of the APC Presidential candidate to let him know that they know what they just did…lol.
