Ex-Ogun First Lady Olufunsho Amosun has once again celebrated her other child and son Damilola who graduated from a university abroad. This latest celebration comes just two days after she shared series of photos celebrating her daughter Eniola on her official social media handle on her graduation. She also finished from a university abroad.

The visibly happy and proud mother, and ex-Ogun First Lady Olufunsho Amosun taking to her social media handle, posted the photos with a caption that reads:

Congratulations son, another day another blessing,” she captioned the photos with a smiley emoji. And since she posted the photos, her comment section has seen a lot of congratulatory messages from her friends and followers.

While most of the comments have all been positives, it comes a few days after Governor Wike of Rivers State, received heavy backlash after photos of himself and some other governors surfaced online showing him celebrating his son as he graduates from a foreign university, while Nigerian university students are at home due to strike.

Jordan Nyesom-Wike, son of Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, graduated from a United Kingdom University. He graduated with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Law from the University of Exeter.

Governor Wike’s family alongside some PDP governors attended the graduation. Those at Jordan’s graduation include Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde; Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; Wike’s wife, Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike and his daughter, Jasmine Nyesom-Wike.

And while ex-Ogun First Lady Olufunsho Amosun did not mention the name of the institution in which her son and even daughter graduated from in her social media post, her husband who is a serving senator and former Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun is yet to make any post of the graduation of his children, as at the time of this report.

ASUU Strike:

ASUU embarked on strike on Feb. 14 over the Federal Government’s non-implementation of a memorandum of understanding and memorandum of action it signed with the union.

ASUU is seeking the government’s commitment to payment of Academic Earned Allowances.

The union is dissatisfied with the government’s refusal to adopt Universities Transparency and Accountability Solution.
