The man who scored the only goal for Real Madrid to help them clinch a record 14th UEFA Champions League title against Liverpool in Paris on Saturday, Vinícius Júnior is to be rewarded with a new contract by Real Madrid.
Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League final thanks to a second-half goal from Vinícius Júnior. They defeated Manchester City in the Semi-Finals, and Chelsea in the Quater finals, and PSG in the second round fixtures to claim their 14th European cup.
According to world renowned football journalist, Fabrizio Romano on Sunday 29th May 2022, stated on his official social media handle that Vinícius Júnior will soon receive a official contract proposal from Real Madrid.
He stated that the new deal for the Brazilian winger, will be ready to be discussed and valid until 2028.
Quoting the Real Madrid star man, speaking about his future with the club after helping beat Liverpool in Paris on Saturday night, he said:
“I don’t want to stop here, I want to keep winning much more and keep making history with Real Madrid”, Vini said.
No official statement yet from Real Madrid as regarding this latest news, but it certain that the Brazilian will remain a Real Madrid player next season and more.
