A bus carrying popular rap group PNL group has crashed on A11, with three injured persons transported to a hospital in a light condition. The seven other victims of the accident are unharmed, AFP reports.
According to the report, the bus carrying musicians from the PNL group overturned on the A11 motorway near Vair-sur-Loire (Loire-Atlantique) on Sunday, causing three minor injuries.
The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on the A11 motorway in the Paris-Nantes direction. According to a statement from the fire department, the bus was carrying ten people and was “alone in the ditch”. A photo shows him lying on his right side against an embankment.
“Three men in their thirties were transported to the Ancenis hospital centre in a light condition and seven other victims were left unharmed,” the statement said.
“A problem with the driver”
According to the Loire-Atlantique gendarmerie, which confirms information from Ouest-France , the bus registered in Germany was transporting musicians from the PNL group, which is due to perform on Sunday evening at the Zénith de Nantes. The concert was however maintained.
“It could be a problem related to the driver, of French nationality. An investigation is underway,” added the gendarmes. The right lane of the highway was cut for more than 2 hours. In total, forty firefighters and twenty machines were mobilized.
