Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, has been given the nod by the Lagos Governance Advisory Council (GAC) to contest for the Officer of the Governor of Lagos State for a second term.
This latest information which is a breaking one, was announced by the Gboyega Akosile who is the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu on Monday.
In a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Monday 18th April 2022, Gboyega Akosile tweeted saying:
“Lagos GAC gives nod to Governor @jidesanwoolu’s second term bid. The Governance Advisory Council at a meeting in Lagos today gave pass mark to Sanwo-Olu for staying through to the developmental agenda of Lagos. Congratulations dear boss!,” he said.
No official statement from the social handle of the Governor as at the time of this report, as we await confirmation of this latest news from the Governor himself, and possibly, the National Leader of the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
