President Zelensky of Ukraine who rejected an offer from the United States of America to be evacuated from his country to safety, is calling on the European leaders to integrate his country into the EU without further delay.
The Ukrainian leader has said this after he urged Russian soldiers to law down their weapons and to disregard Putin’s orders in his invasion of Ukraine.
President Zelensky in a new video just released just before negotiations with Russia in Belarus, called on Russian soldiers to stop fighting and “save their lives”.
He also calls for the “immediate” integration of Ukraine into the European Union.
“Lay down your arms, get out of here, don’t believe your commanders, don’t believe your propagandists. Just save your lives,” he said in Russian.
