Femicide in Paris, as France police declare wanted an officer who has been on the run since his partner was found dead in his apartment on January 28 in Paris, AFP reports.
According to the report, the Paris police headquarters issued a call for witnesses on Thursday to find the policeman on the run, suspected of femicide in Paris.
On January 28, his partner was found dead at the couple’s home. Her husband, who fled and has still not been found, had already been convicted of acts of domestic violence in the past, for which he had completed an awareness course.
“Arnaud B. is a policeman. He is in possession of his service weapon and a black commando type backpack”, details the prefecture in its press release. “He is traveling in a white Peugeot 208 vehicle, in poor general condition, registered DQ-759-HN”, the Police statement reads.
Monday, Gérald Darmanin affirmed on BFMTV that significant means were implemented to find the suspect. “Many police and gendarmerie operations are being carried out at this very moment,” said the Minister of the Interior.
