Imo State First Lady, Chioma Uzodimma was looking all stylish as she attended the ongoing National Progressives Women’s Conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
Chioma Uzodimma who was one of the top dignitaries at the
the maiden edition of the National Progressive Women’s Conference organised by the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stormed the event standing out in the crowd, as her sense of style was in full display for all to see…she clearly did not come to play…lol
The National Progressive Women’s Conference which was attended by Chioma Uzodimma had the theme, “One Voice Uniting for Progress”, thicked off on Tuesday 19th January 2022, at the International Conference Center, Abuja.
The event provided an opportunity for the First Lady of Imo State, Chioma Uzodimma and other various panellists, official dignitaries, and national representatives to discuss gender inclusiveness and a greater role for women in governance.
The event which kicked off after remarks and various goodwill messages transitioned into a powerful keynote session titled “Women Political Leaders: Leveraging Networks to Transform Nigeria” delivered by the Vice President of Liberia, Her Excellency, Chief Dr. Jewel Taylor.
Among many other informative discussions, a panel discussion was held to educate the audience about; the role of women in politics, how embracing the diversity in our culture, and self reinventing sustainable interventions are vital in empowering the next generation of women for a better country.
The highlight of today’s event was the unveiling of the Progressive Women’s Academy Mobile application by Her Excellency, Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, to keep women engaged and informed about politics.
The conference ended with the Chairman/CEO – Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa sharing an action plan on the opinions conveyed by various national officials present. I wish to applaud the members of the Conference Planning Committee for their active participation and commitment to this cause.
