Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has finally taken off her leg strap, as she gradually completes her rehabilitation schedule as she bids to make a full recovery from the knee injury she sustained in November.
Falcons star Asisat Oshoala took to her official Instagram handle on Thursday 30th December 2021, to show Nigerians and her followers her new look, and how she has been enjoying the holiday following the Christmas break.
The 27-year-old Barcelona forward had said a few weeks ago, after suffering the injury during a 4-0 win over Hoffenheim that her latest injury is ‘a tough pill to swallow.’
Falcons star Asisat Oshoala suffered a rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament in her right knee against the German club and has been on the sideline since then for Barcelona.
“This one hit me so hard, it’s a tough pill for me to swallow. I can’t lie,” Oshoala wrote on social media.
“Thank you for the messages, I will be back soon and even better.”
The statement by her club after the injury then reads:
“As reported by the club’s medical services, Asisat Oshoala suffered a rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. The Nigerian forward, who was injured in the second half of Wednesday’s game against Hoffenheim, will be out for about two months,” read a statement on the club’s website
