Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has disclosed that the National Headquarters of All Progressives Congress (APC) accepted the emergence of Abdullahi Abbas as the only State Chairman after he was elected from the just concluded Kano State APC Congress.
According to the statement released by Abba Anwar, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State on Wednesday, 20th October 2021, on the Kano APC Congress, stated that the Governor prior to the commencement of the State Executive Council meeting, today, Wednesday, said “Party headquarters has recognized our election of Abdullahi Abbas as the State Chairman of our party.
It also recognizes all leaders elected during the Kano APC congress, when Abdullahi Abbas emerged victorious.”
Adding that, “However there are moves to reconcile with all few others who followed other way. Politics is all about this kind of development, anyway.”
While commending all Commissioners and other members of the Council, he said “…you preformed wonderfully well.”
