Porsha Dyanne Williams has joined hundreds of millions of other Nigerians both home and abroad to mark Nigeria’s 61st Independence anniversary, as she once again, shows her love for the giant of Africa and the most populous black country on Earth.

Porsha Dyanne Williams who recently visited Nigeria with her husband to be, and billionaire businessman, Simon Guobadia, on Friday 1st October 2021, took to her official social media handle to show her love for the country, while telling her followers that she is repping her boo.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who is fast learning the Nigerian ways, was looking very Nigerian with her choice of outfit, which is a combination of the colours white and green, depicting the Nigerian flag, and with a glass of Champaign in her hands, she captioned the photo and a short video where she was dancing with these words:

“Happy 61st Independence Day Nigeria Repping my boo @iamsimonguobadia,” she captioned the photos.

The post by Porsha Dyanne Williams is coming a day after she broke the news to millions of her fans on Instagram that she will be leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The move which did not come as a surprise to many given the whole drama surrounding her new ‘boo’ Simon and her starting her own show, saw her thanking Andy Cohen and the rest of the Bravo team for helping to make her a household name over the last decade.

What Was Her Message?

Taking to her Instagram with over 6million followers she said:

““After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter,” she wrote. “Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise.

“This was a difficult decision to not only make, but also come to terms with. It’s one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it’s the right one.”

“I have so much love and endless gratitude for my Bravo family and supporters. You’ve made the past decade a truly special one,” she continued. “One where I’ve dealt with unbelievable highs and unbelievable lows, and I can honestly say I would not have made it through some of them without the unconditional love and support I have gotten from all of you.”

“Don’t worry though, I’ll be back on your TV very soon,” she shared. “I can’t wait to share all of my exciting new endeavours with the world-beginning with the release of my memoir, The Pursuit of Porsha, out on November 16. As for the rest, you’ll just have to wait and see!” she said.

Porsha Dyanne Williams and Simon visited Nigeria, Benin State to be precise, during the 87th Birthday celebration of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion. And she has promised her fans that she will be having a Nigerian wedding and we cannot wait!
