Winger Jadon Sancho who a few days ago was reported to have completed a £75million move to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, is now getting ready to be officially announced as a player of the Red Devils.
According to the report on Sunday 18th July 2021, by a popular Sports Journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United manager, Solskjaer confirmed that winger Jadon Sancho will be announced soon to fans.
The manager was quoted to have said that the England international will be “announced soon” and that “There’s just some paperwork to sort”.
Ole also confirmed a contract has been signed and every other thing agreed on. It’s just one paperwork between Manchester United and Dortmund, but in all, no problem, as announcement is ready.
According to Fabrizio, the Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten about the deal, said: “Winger Jadon Sancho deal is done. Everything is settled and processed”,
Nothing has been confirmed by both Dortmund and Manchester United, as earlier reports suggested that both parties have agreed to the fee for the 21-year-old on 1 July 2021, but the deal could not be concluded until after Euro 2020.
Sancho was pictured last week being driven into United’s Carrington training complex for his medicals and was later pictured leaving.
The Manchester United manager has also denied interest in £50million rated Real Madrid and French defender, Varane, saying:
“Varane? Same again [laughs], I only speak about players when we sign them”.
“Lingard wants to fight for his place. Jesse is in the plans at the moment,” he said.
