A popular Kannywood actress Hajiya Zainab Booth, has died, aged 61. The news of her death was announced on Friday, but the actress was said to have died on Thursday night in Kano.
The death of Zainab Booth was announced by her colleague, Ali Nuhu, via his verified Instagram page.
According to Ali Nuhu who announced the death of the actress on his Instagram page, she will be buried on Friday in Kano.
“With the deepest heart, I announced the demised of Zainab Booth. The Jana’iza prayers will hold on Friday at her residence, opposite Premiere Hospital in the morning,” Ali Nuhu wrote.
However, what led to her death was kept away from the public.
Her daughter Maryam, also said that her mother will be buried after Janazah (funeral prayers) at her Court Road residence at 8 am today, July 2.
Hajiya Zainab Musa Booth left behind four children and two grandchildren.
