DMX’s children, about 15 of them, have just arrived at the hospital in New York to reportedly say their last goodbye, as the legendary rapper fights for his life, as his condition is getting worse since his admission.
According to reports, several of the DMX’s children have flown to White Plains, NY to visit their dad in the ICU which could be their last chance to say goodbye.
The terrible news comes on the heels of multiple reports that DMX is in a “vegetative state” and has minimal brain activity, following a drug overdose and subsequent heart attack.
Sources close to the family are saying the hospital staff is allowing one family member to visit DMX at a time, due to Coronavirus regulations.
The legendary rapper’s fiancee, Desiree, and his mother have been with him up until this point, and it’s unclear if the doctors have started allowing other family members in to see him.
According to DMX’s manager, the legendary rapper is in a “vegetative state” and is “still in the same condition — [with] lung and brain failure and no brain activity.”
“We ask that you please keep Earl/DMX and us in your thoughts, wishes, and prayers as well as respect our privacy as we face these challenges,” the family added in a statement.
“The Simmons Family appreciates the overwhelming outpouring of heartfelt love, encouragement, support, and prayers for Earl,” his family said.
Adding, “Earl is someone whose life and music have been a source of inspiration and strength to so many people around the world. It is reassuring to see his fans return that same passion and energy to him during his time of need.”
