Soludo's Attack: Police Nab 4 Additional Suspects

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested four additional suspects involved in Professor Soludo’s attack on Wednesday.

The Command’s Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ikenga Tochukwu in a statement on Thursday, 1st April 2021, while confirming the arrest of the suspects in Soludo’s attack and abduction of one person, said the “Police Operatives attached to Anambra State Command today 1st April, 2021 have arrested four 4 additional suspects in connection to the recent attack and gruesome murder of three Policemen at Isuofia Civic Center in Aguata LGA of Anambra State.

The names of the suspects were given as :
Mbah Victor ‘M’ aged 30years, John Olisakwe ‘M’ aged 21years. Chigozie Omeh ‘M’ aged 20years and
Emmanuel Nnobi ‘M’ aged 28years.

The suspects confessed to have actively taken part in the attack and subsequent abduction of Commissioner for Public and Utilities, Engr Emeka Ezenwanne, which the Command is working assiduously to rescue,” the statement said.

DSP Ikenga Tochukwu continued:

“Consequently, efforts are still ongoing to apprehend other fleeing accomplices, unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and bring perpetrators to book.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP Monday Bala Kuryas has reiterated his commitment towards ensuring the safety and security of Ndi Anambra and residence alike.

He urged the public not to relent in providing useful information that will assist the command in to nip in the board all forms of criminality in the state including similar ugly incidents,” he added.
