Hon Emeka Ihedioha has shared an appreciation message, to thank Nigerians for all their best wishes sent to him on his 56th birthday.
Hon Emeka Ihedioha who was sacked by the Supreme Court of Nigeria as the Governor of Imo State earlier this year, celebrated his 56th birthday on Wednesday, where he shared a series of throwback photos to mark the special day.
The photos which generated a lot of positive reactions from Nigerians, were posted by Emeka Ihedioha with a short prayer as a caption. The caption reads:
“Dear Lord,
It is by your grace and mercies that I have come this far. My whole life is in the hollow of thy Hands. For this gift of a new year, I give it all to you Lord. Thank you, Lord,” he had said.
The former Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, overwhelmed by the messages he received from during his 56th birthday, took to his official social media handle to post this appreciation tweet:
“I wish to most profoundly express my deepest appreciation to all individuals, groups and organisations for the overflow of goodwill as I marked my 56th birthday.
My entire family is, indeed, very thankful for this wonderful expression of love and solidarity. It goes a long way to demonstrate the bond we share together.
While we don’t take this for granted, we are ever humbled by this show of affection.
It shows that even in our time of difficulty, we still remain united in our quest for a better future for our people.
By His grace, together we will continue to be of service to our people. I will continue to be guided by my disposition to treating all with dignity and respect.
The Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1; To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Therefore, I am sure, deep in my heart, that there is a purpose for whatever confronts us. We must never lose faith in God Almighty.
Once again, thank you and may God, richly bless and cause men to celebrate you also,” he said.
