Emily Ratajkowski has welcomed her first child with her husband, Sebastian Bear-Mc-Clard. The Model announced the good news to millions of her followers on her social media handle.
Emily Ratajkowski Welcomed her newborn on Monday as she shared a photo of her breastfeeding the newborn they already named Sylvester on her Instagram.
She captioned the lovely photo with: ‘Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side.’
‘Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and the love-filled morning of my life.’
Emily Ratajkowski was inundated with congratulations from fans and celebrity pals alike.
Throughout her pregnancy, Emily had kept fans updated with plenty of baby bump updates and she revealed in an interview with Vogue that she was planning on raising her child in a gender-neutral household. ‘When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after “Congratulations” is almost always “Do you know what you want?” We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this,’ she told the publication.
‘There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who—rather than what—is growing inside my belly.’
A month prior to giving birth, Emily, who is famed for appearing in Robin Thicke’s video for Blurred Lines, told fans that she was going to miss her baby bump. Alongside pictures of her posing nude with her bump, Emily wrote: ‘Sometimes I feel like Winnie the Pooh in human form, other times like a fertility goddess with a juicy butt. I took this on a day where I was feeling the latter.
‘Either way I know I’m going to miss this bump and those kicks very soon.’
Emily and her husband Sebastian tied the knot in 2018, after dating for just a matter of weeks.
