The Anambra State Police Command has declared two girls missing after their case was reported at the state capital Awka.
According to the statement released on Tuesday 9th February 2021, by the Public Relations Officer of the command, CSP Haruna Mohammed, said the case of the missing persons was reported on
the 4/2/2021 at about 4:pm, at CPS Awka by one Ukamaka Anunobi “f” of NO.7 Emeka Chukwura Street Amikwo Awka.
According to the Police, the woman had told the Police that two of her step-daughters named Precious Chukwuemeka ‘f’ aged 17years and Mmesoma Chukwuemeka ‘f’ aged 12 years of same address left the house to an unknown destination but did not return home.
CSP Haruna Mohammed in the statement said Police circulated the signal of the two missing girls through the control room while effort is being intensified to find the missing children.
“They are fair in complexion one is about 5ft tall while the other is 3 and half feet tall without a tribal mark.
The Command implores members of the public with useful information about the children’s whereabouts to report at the nearest Police Station or through the following Police emergency number 07039194332.”
