The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 1634 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus in Nigeria. The centre also reported 6 new deaths on Tuesday.
The NCDC, in its daily updates on Tuesday 2nd February 2021, reported on its official social media handle that a total of 1634 new cases of the virus were recorded across the country.
According to the update, the 1634 new cases of the COVID-19, were recorded in 26 states of the federation, including the FCT. The distribution of the 1634 new cases as reported from each state, shows the following:

According to the NCDC, the total number of discharges on Tuesday 2nd February 2021, includes 776 community recoveries in Lagos State and 96 community recoveries in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines.
Also, the NCDC reported that till date, a total of 133,552 cases have been confirmed, and 107,551 cases have been discharged and 1,613 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
