The outgoing Chief of Defence Staff, General AG Olonisakin has on Friday, handed over to the newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff, L.E.O Irabor.
The outgoing Gen. Olonisakin who was retired alongside other Service Chiefs by President Muhammadu Buhari, handed over the baton of leadership to Irabor as the new Chief of Defence Staff.
At the handing over ceremony, which was a lowkey one, General Olonisakin wished Irabor success, while also using the opportunity to “sincerely appreciate the President, C-in-C of the AFN, and Nigerians for the privilege to serve this great country. I congratulate Maj Gen Irabor and wish him a successful tenure,” he said.
