The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 1430 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus, as the total figure now stands at 112,996 across the nation.
The NCDC in their daily update on the coronavirus situation in the country, on Monday 25th January 2021, took to their official social media page to announced that a total of 1430 new cases were recorded. These 1,430 new cases according to the NCDC, were recorded in 19 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.
The figure also shows that Lagos is still recording the highest number of daily cases, as the state recorded 744 new cases in just one day.
The 1430 new cases as reported by NCDC in the 19 states, are distributed as follows:
