The Biden-Harris Inauguration ceremony next week, will see multiple award-winning singers and actresses such as Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez performing at the historic event.
The Joe Biden-Kamala Harris inauguration ceremony which is set for next Wednesday, January 20th 2021, will see Lady Gaga performing the United States national anthem, and Jennifer Lopez also doing a performance on the same day.
Gaga was previously on the campaign trail with Biden, appearing alongside the then-candidate in western Pennsylvania a day before the U.S. presidential election. She is also no stranger to the anthem having performed it at Superbowl 50.
The inaugural committee confirmed the full line-up for the Biden-Harris Inauguration event on Twitter on Thursday.
Lady Gaga will be following in the foot steps of the likes of Jackie Evancho who sang the National Anthem at Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017, and Beyonce at Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2013.
It is no surprise that Lady Gaga has been chosen by Biden to sing the National Anthem, as when he was Vice President, Biden worked with Gaga on his It’s On Us awareness campaign to address sexual assault on college campuses.
No information as to what JLo’s role, as all we know is that she will also be performing at the Biden-Harris Inauguration ceremony, as Biden takes over from Trump as the next President.
