Davido has opened up about his relationship with the mother of his son, Chioma. In a recent interview he granted, the singer while addressing the rumours that he might likely dump Chioma just like he allegedly did his other baby mamas, assured fans that marriage with Chioma will happen.
He said it is something they have been working and looking forward to, after their supposed engagement last year.
Davido clearing the air about the mother of his son, admitted that there was an initial pressure, especially when she first confirmed that she was pregnant, but he is not complaining. He said the marriage to his long-time fiancé, will happen.
In the interview, the singer who is scheduled to drop his ‘A Better Time’ album on Friday 13th November 2020, said the relationship will end up in marriage but not anytime soon.
He said after Chioma got pregnant, he felt like he was under pressure to marry her.
Davido also revealed that he was once stopped by a woman somewhere in Barcelona who warned him to make sure he marries Chioma.
He revealed he wishes to marry the Chef one day, but not anytime soon.
Davido just last year, introduced Chioma to his family, as he took to his Instagram page to share a photo of the meeting between both families, with this caption saying:
“First of all Introduction”,
He went further to tell fans through his social media that their wedding has been fixed for next year, 2020, but did not say the date or month. It is clear that with the unfortunate events of 2020, the wedding which many had tagged ‘Assurance2020’ has been put on hold till further notice.
Since the two started dating, Davido has never failed to let the world know what Chioma means to him, as he has constantly shared their love stories on his social media. This is taking the bold step, doing the right thing for the one he loves.
