Nigerian media mogul and philanthropist, Mo Abudu is marking her 56th birthday today. In celebrating the day, she took to her official social media handle to share a stunning photo to usher in the new year with her fans.
Mo Abudu who has been counting down to her 56th birthday with some throwback photos, dating back her youthful days, on Friday 11th September 2020, revealed what the entire throwbacks have been all about. It has been her celebrating her life journey from her childhood days, to when she was a teenager, and now a successful businesswoman, a mother, and grandmother.
She shared a series of photos and a short video, where she was spotting a half sleeve sequin dress with a caption that reads:
“Giving God all the glory as I turn 56 years old today,” she said.
She also said she is excited for the future in her post on Friday.
Also, in one of her throwback photo journey some days back, where she shared a photo of herself dating back 53-years ago, she praised her mother for all the love and lessons growing up, while also touching on all the good childhood memories growing up in London.
She had captioned that 53-year-old photo with these words:
“Good morning beautiful people. I think I may have told you the story of the coat I am wearing in this picture a while back. Well I guess I am getting old, so I am starting to repeat myself 😂❤️😂.
This picture of me is about 53 years old. Now my mum told me the story as she remembers it.
It was time to buy me a new winter coat, so she took me to the store in Sherpherds Bush in London to get me a coat. My mum said she had a particular coat she wanted to buy me, but even at age 3, I had other ideas😂😂. I insisted on another coat, the one I am wearing 😂😍😂. I cried and cried, threw a tantrum in the store till I got the coat I wanted 😂😂😂.
Now I am not saying throwing tantrums is the right way to go o! 🙏🏾😊 I know how often I have had to negotiate with my own kids on what they want and what I want 😊😊 How do you find communicating with your parents or your children? 😊 Do you have any interesting stories to share? 😊,” she said.
