Alexis Sanchez after giving up his £560,000-per-week wage bill at Manchester United, inorder to seek a permanent move to Inter Milan, was said to have been given £9million by the Red Devils as a payoff.

According to Dailymail which broke the news about Alexis Sanchez transfer move to Inter Milan, the negotiation between parties were said to have been very satisfying. For United, it was a good bargain, as they have been left off the hook considering that if they were to keep the Chilean international, would have cost Red Devils over £50m going by his huge wage bill, and still has nearly two years to run on his contract.

Dailymail also added that Manchester United waived a transfer fee so that Inter could turn Sanchez’s loan at the San Siro into a permanent move and sign the Chile star on a three-year deal worth £130,000-a-week.

It is less than Sanchez’s contract at United, which was worth up to £560,000-a-week and made him the highest-paid player in the Premier League, but he was desperate to stay in Italy.

Sanchez is now free to continue playing for the Italians in the Europa League and could even face United in Cologne if both clubs make it through to the final on August 21.

There is also Lukaku, and other ex-English Premier league stars, in the current Inter Milan team that United would want to avoid them in the Europa league.
