President Muhammadu Buhari, has sent a passionate get well message to Saudi Ruler and Custodian of the Holy Mosques, King Abdulaziz.
President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu on Monday 20th July 2020, wished King Abdulaziz a quick recovery, after Saudi state media reported that he was checked into a hospital.
The statement from the Presidency to Kind Abdulaziz a few hours ago, reads:
“President Muhammadu Buhari Monday sent a passionate get well message to Saudi Ruler and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, who has been hospitalized.
“King Salman is a true friend of Nigeria who has never failed to identify with us at all times through important collaborations and cooperation.
“As the King receives medical attention, I send my best wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery,” the statement.
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz was admitted to hospital, suffering from inflammation of the gall bladder, according to state media.
The 84-year-old ruler, who has ruled the country since 2015, was undergoing medical checks in the capital, state news agency SPA said on Monday. No other details were given.
President Buhari joins other world leaders to wish the King a quick recovery.
