Kanye West now has a running mate, as his stepmother-in-law, Caitlyn Jenner has indicated interest to be his Vice Presidential candidate.
According to reports, Caitlyn Jenner “texted him” about joining his political Birthday Party. After being asked if she would have voted Kanye in the upcoming 2020 election, Jenner said she had thrown in her hat for vice president.
On her way to her car, she was approached by TMZ who wanted to know if she would be voting for Kanye West, who is married to her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian. Jenner responded, “Oh, I texted him and said, ‘Can I be your VP?’”
TMZ reported that Caitlyn who was walking back to her car after grabbing some Starbucks in Westlake Village, CA had said that
they’d make a pretty awesome combination on the Birthday Party ticket.
West announced his surprise run for president earlier this July, after indicating in the past he would run in 2024. It was declared that he would be running as an Independent under the Birthday Party, as he explained to Forbes “when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.”
Also, Kanye West filed a second set of documents Thursday with the Federal Election Commission a Statement of Candidacy, which shows he’s spent or raised over $5,000 in campaign-related expenses, officially elevating him to candidacy status under the federal campaign law.
He previously filed legal documents qualifying him to get on the ballot in Oklahoma, though he missed Wednesday’s deadline in Florida, a battleground state.
Kanye tabbed Michelle Tidball to be his running mate in his instantly infamous interview with Forbes, but she comes with a lot of baggage and has yet to formally accept the invitation, TMZ added.
Kanye West as President, and Jenner as Vice President, with Kim Kardashian as the First Lady, would be an interesting White House…not to talk of mama Kris in the picture too!!
